Balance & Anti-Infinite Measures
This major beta update focuses on curbing infinite loops by reworking key cards like Expect a Fight and Prepare. General systems have been adjusted, including a 25 Gold reduction for all shop relics, while gold-generating relics have been removed from the Merchant's inventory to tighten the economy.
New Content & Phobia Mode
A new Phobia Mode introduces bespoke assets for creepy enemies like the Terror Eel and Wrigglers. Two new Neow blessings, Hefty Tablet and Neow's Talisman, provide more starting deck variety. Additionally, several cards received new portrait art and visual effects.
Character & Enemy Adjustments
Every character class received balance tweaks. The Regent saw the most extensive changes with over 15 buffs to cards like Kingly Punch and Heirloom Hammer. Enemies like the Doormaker and Skulking Colony have been reworked with deadlier movesets, while several Act 1 and Act 2 encounters were rebalanced for Ascension scaling.
