Overview

This beta update (0.8.089) for Manor Lords focuses on critical pathfinding fixes and performance optimizations. The most notable improvements address workers becoming permanently stuck at taverns and soldiers getting trapped within castle gatehouses.

AI & Pathfinding

Significant work has been done to resolve logic loops that caused ox guides and construction workers to stall. Rebuilding residential plots now correctly regenerates pathfinding points, preventing workers from getting stuck during the construction process. Additionally, characters will now properly wait their turn at resource points like wells.

Visuals & Performance

Performance has been significantly boosted for players constructing manors with stone walls. On the visual side, several animation loops and rendering glitches have been fixed, including levitating building parts after fires and livestock death animations.
