Summary
Juno Beach & Canadian Forces
Update 20 commemorates the 82nd anniversary of D-Day by returning to Normandy with the new Juno Beach map. This update introduces the Canadian Forces as a playable faction, complete with historically accurate weapons like the Sten Mk II and Lanchester, and a full vehicle roster including the Sherman Firefly and Churchill Mk III A.V.R.E.
Armor Overhaul
A fundamental rework of tank combat introduces the Armor Resistance System, which applies percentage-based damage reduction based on armor thickness. Tanks are now equipped with Smoke Launchers and a new Shell Unloading mechanic to increase tactical depth. Additionally, a comprehensive balance pass has been applied to all armored vehicles, adjusting health, damage, and penetration values to better reflect historical performance.
Gameplay & Quality of Life
Anti-tank gameplay has been adjusted with increased damage but reduced ammo counts for launchers. Infantry improvements include a 40% fire rate buff for the Rifle No.4 Mk1 and improved bipod deployment animations on uneven terrain. A new player reporting tool and in-game newsfeed have also been added.
