Update 1.4.1
Update 1.4.1 introduces the highly requested Hotseat mode, allowing for local multiplayer on a single device. The update also features a significant rework of the Archipelago map type using Voronoi technology to create more organic and random environments. Core gameplay systems including Happiness, Governments, and Celebrations have been overhauled to increase their impact on turn-to-turn decision-making.
Brush and Blade DLC Part 1
The first installment of the Brush and Blade DLC collection focuses on Japanese history. It introduces Toyotomi Hideyoshi as a new Militaristic and Cultural leader, alongside the Heian Japan (Antiquity Age) and Sengoku Japan (Exploration Age) civilizations. The DLC also adds four new Wonders and various profile customization options.
Future Updates
Looking ahead, Part 2 of the Brush and Blade collection will feature Korean history with leader Yi Sun-sin and the Goryeo and Joseon civilizations. Developers are also investigating improvements to Peace Deal negotiations based on community feedback.
