Specialize and Customize with Class Mastery
PREVIEWUpdate 50 introduces the Class Mastery system, adding five unique passive abilities to all seven classes for players who reach level 50 in all class skill lines.

- newJudgment’s Brand: New passive: Upgrades Burning Light rank 2 to increase Templar ability damage after activation.
- newSteadfast Candescence: New passive: Increases block mitigation while stationary and grants Sacred Ground while Bracing.

- newConservation of Energy: New passive: Upgrades Blood Magic rank 2 to activate off any ability with a cost and restore Magicka and Stamina.
- newFont of Power: New passive: Upgrades Exploitation rank 2 to activate off any Sorcerer ability and grant damage based on highest max resource.
- newStatic Reverberation: New passive: Damaging attacks have a chance to trigger additional Shock Damage based on target's missing health; chance reduced per active pet.
- newCalculated Defense: New passive: Gain a health-scaled damage shield when using skills with a cast time; grants group damage buffs if shield expires without breaking.
- newSphere of Influence: New passive: Damage shield abilities grant an additional health-scaled shield and resource recovery to the target.

- newLead From the Front: New passive: Upgrades The Storm Voice rank 2 to apply Major Berserk and Protection to self and group based on Ultimate spent.

- newWild Adaptation: New passive: Increases damage for each status effect on the target (applies to enemies and friends).
- newGlacial Obstinance: New passive: Upgrades Bond with Nature to trigger off Winter’s Embrace skills and grant damage if at full health.
- newGreen-Keeper's Hide: New passive: Reduces damage taken based on the number of status effects on the attacker.
- newBountiful Harvest: New passive: Upgrades Nature’s Gift rank 2 to grant Major Heroism and resources to the group.
💀Necromancer(5)
- newNothing Wasted: New passive: Upgrades Corpse Consumption rank 2 to grant stacking Health and Damage buffs that decay in sets of three.
- newMalevolent Promise: New passive: Upgrades Corpse Consumption rank 2 to mark enemies with Death's Touch, allowing them to be used as corpses for skills.
- newCycle Unending: New passive: Upgrades Reusable Parts rank 2 to increase damage potency based on health lead over the enemy.
- newPound of Flesh: New passive: Chance to restore Health and Stamina when taking damage, scaling with missing health.
- newVeil's Forfeit: New passive: Healing targets below 66% health allows them to be used for corpse-consuming abilities; increases Major Vulnerability duration.
📖Arcanist(5)
- newAbyssal Emergence: New passive: Arcanist Ultimates generate Crux and grant damage buffs upon activation.
- newFate Realigned: New passive: Upgrades Implacable Outcome rank 2 to generate Crux and grant damage buffs.
- newUnbound Potential: New passive: Upgrades Fated Fortune rank 2 to increase overall damage done.
- newErudite’s Rigor: New passive: Upgrades Fatewoven Armor to apply Minor Cowardice to attackers and Major Vitality to the group; grants Ultimate based on Crux.
- newInk-Scribe’s Verve: New passive: Healing or overhealing in combat generates Crux and applies Major Force to the group.
Summary
Arriving with Update 50 on June 8, 2026, the Class Mastery system provides a new progression path for dedicated players. Each of the game's seven classes will receive a dedicated passive skill line containing five unique abilities. Players must choose carefully, as only two Class Mastery Points are available to spend per character.
System Requirements
To access Class Mastery, characters must have reached level 50 in all three of their class's primary skill lines and must not be actively using the Subclassing system.
Class-Specific Focus
The new passives are designed to enhance existing class identities, such as the Templar's Sacred Ground mechanics, the Sorcerer's damage shields, and the Arcanist's Crux generation. Note that Warden passives are currently placeholder designs while the class undergoes a broader refresh.
