Summary

Ripatorium 2.0

The Ripatorium has been completely overhauled into a round-based arena mode. Players can now customize up to five rounds with unique enemy selections, respawn waves, and time limits. A new Beta feature allows players to share their custom setups via Passcodes. Additionally, the update adds five new Jukebox tracks and detailed end-of-level summaries for arena performance.

Gameplay & Quality of Life

Significant control improvements have been added, including the highly requested ability to swap active Shield Runes and Melee weapons during gameplay with dedicated key bindings. The 'Brink of Death' mechanic is now adjustable, allowing players to choose between Normal and Hard settings to customize their survival experience.

Balance & Campaign Updates

Extensive rebalancing has been applied to bosses like Prince Ahzrak and The Old One to improve fairness. Campaign encounters across multiple levels have been tuned, generally reducing enemy respawns and adjusting specific mob compositions to improve flow. Visual feedback has also been enhanced with increased gore frequency and improved ragdoll physics.
