  • newBase capturing: Added a new "Contested" state for base capturing that serves as an in-between state when defenders are outnumbered but capture is not yet possible
  • nerfBase capturing: Defenders are unable to spawn on a base for as long as it remains in a contested state
  • changeBase capturing: Contested bases are now highlighted on the map with a soft red glow to provide defender feedback
  • newUI: Added a "Move closer" popup notification when an enemy is capturing or contesting a base

Base Contesting Rework

The core update introduces a "Contested" state for bases. This occurs when defenders are outnumbered but a capture cannot proceed due to equal numbers, lack of radio connection, or FIA presence. While a base is contested, defenders are barred from spawning there, though they receive a visual map indicator (red glow) to alert them of the threat.

Vehicle & Asset Adjustments

Significant tweaks have been made to vehicle physics, specifically lowering the center of mass for the BRDM-2, S105, and S1203 to reduce rollovers. Internal storage limits for vehicles have also been increased. The LAV-25 received collider updates, specifically for its 5mm wavebreaker armor.

Stability & Bug Fixes

This patch addresses several crashes, most notably a crash occurring on PS5 when using binoculars at 4K resolution. Other fixes target character spawning inside geometry, nametag replication for renegade players, and various animation clipping issues with heavy weapons.
