- changeDoubloons: Existing Doubloon totals are being converted into Gold for all players.
- nerfDoubloons: A new earnings cap of 4,000 Doubloons is now enforced on all player wallets.
- nerfDoubloons: Doubloon currency is now scarcer; primary sources are now limited to Weekender activities, Reaper's Chests, and Seasonal Renown.
- changeOutpost Shops: All items previously priced in Doubloons at Outpost stores have been converted to Gold-only purchases.
- newDoubloon Hoarder Cutlass: Players who reached the lifetime threshold for the Doubloon Hoarder Cutlass will have the item issued to their accounts.

Summary
Economy Overhaul
This update implements a significant reset of the Doubloon economy. Existing Doubloon balances are converted to Gold, and a new wallet cap of 4,000 Doubloons is enforced. Doubloons are now scarcer, primarily earned through the new Bilge Rats Weekender events, Seasonal Renown, and Reaper's Chests.
Bilge Rats Weekender
A new recurring event running from April 16th to 20th, 2026, introduces themed decorations, firework displays, and two limited-time voyages: the Smuggler’s Doubloon Run and Recovery of a Secret Shipment. The Festival of Fishing also returns during this period with Hunter's Call bonuses.
Gameplay & Performance
Significant visual improvements have been made to the Battle Bounds (red water) to clearly define the danger zone. Performance optimizations address client framerate issues and shop loading times. Additionally, a new Streamer Mode Support section and persistent on-screen voice chat indicators have been added.
