Map Service Report - Update 42.1

June map rotations are now live across all regions, while the dev team continues to analyze Map Selection data to inform future service updates.

Summary

Map Service Update

The PUBG team is currently evaluating the Map Selection feature introduced in Update 41.2 for NA, SA, EU, RU, and Console regions. Because current map selection volume is lower than standard matchmaking, the June map service will continue to rely on existing preference metrics—including playtime, match count, and leave rates—rather than the new selection data.

Regional Rotations

Update 42.1 establishes a four-week rotation schedule for all regions. PC rotations begin every Wednesday at 02:00 UTC, while Console rotations follow on Thursdays at 07:00 UTC. The Ranked map pool remains a fixed 25% split between four major maps.
