Update 43.1 introduces a 5-week map rotation schedule and sets the Ranked pool to an equal 25% split between Erangel, Miramar, Taego, and Rondo.

Summary
Map Rotation Schedule
Update 43.1 implements a structured 5-week map rotation based on regional preference data collected between June 29 and August 25. For PC, the first rotation begins on Thursday, September 10, with subsequent rotations every Wednesday at 02:00 UTC. Console players will see rotations every Thursday at 07:00 UTC, starting September 17.
Normal Match Regional Pools
Map availability has been adjusted to better reflect regional player behavior:
- AS/SEA: Erangel and Taego are fixed. Miramar, Sanhok, and Vikendi are favored, while Paramo, Rondo, Deston, and Karakin rotate through the final slot.
- KAKAO: Erangel, Taego, and Sanhok remain fixed in the pool.
- NA/SA/EU/RU/Console: Erangel is the sole fixed map, with other maps rotating through dedicated Large and Small rotation slots weekly.
Ranked Play
The Ranked map pool is updated to a four-map rotation with equal probability (25% each): Erangel, Miramar, Taego, and Rondo.
