Update 2.8 launches the 'Road to Hell' event and a massive Inventory Slot Rework, alongside the introduction of Special Long Ammo for top-tier rifles and the new 1890 Cavalry weapon.

  • newStrongholds: Added Strongholds, large 3-area locations (trenches, camp, fortified building) containing unique event loot.
  • newCaged Boss Target: Introduced Caged Boss Targets at Strongholds; banishing them drops 1 bounty token and they are guaranteed in every mission during the event.
  • newMedical Supply Point: Added Medical Supply Points to the map, containing Health Restoration Kits, Scout Maps, and Four Shot Boons.
  • newMilitary Supply Point: Added Military Supply Points containing Sealed Scarce Weapon Boxes and Catalyst Trait Spurs.
  • newScout Map: Added the Scout Map interaction which reveals all hidden locations on the map (excluding Wild Targets).
  • changeSealed Explosives Box: Re-introduced the Sealed Explosives Box which costs 1 Pledge Mark to open and spawns 3 explosives.

🎒Inventory Systems(5)

  • changeInventory Slots: Replaced Small/Medium/Large weapon sizes with a numerical 1-5 size system.
  • changeWeapon Capacity: Set default weapon capacity to 5 slots, expandable to 6 with the Quartermaster trait.
  • changeTool/Consumable Slots: Combined tool and consumable slots; players can now freely equip any combination of these items.
  • nerfConsumables: Restricted consumables to a maximum of 4 instances of the same type (Throwables, Placeables, Shots, Tarot Cards).

World & UI Updates

Pitching Crematorium has received a significant layout overhaul to improve flow and accessibility. The UI has been completely redesigned to accommodate the new inventory system, featuring a unified grid for tools and consumables and new sorting options.
