The Illuminate Threat Expands
High Command has identified a new sub-faction, the Illuminate Appropriators, fielding powerful piloted constructs like the Veracitor and Gatekeeper. These forces are supported by Illuminate Fleets consisting of Mindless Masses, Voteless, and Fleshmobs.
New Hazards and Missions
Planets in Illuminate space are now besieged by Exostorms—high-intensity wind and lightning strikes. Helldivers must deploy for the new "Destroy Exospire" mission to deactivate force shields and destroy Dark Fluid cells to calm these storms. To assist, the Entrenched Division Premium Warbond has been authorized.
Combat Balancing
Flamethrowers now cause panic and slow effects on various enemy types. Significant buffs have been applied to the LAS-98 Laser Cannon (5x range increase), the P-11 Stim Pistol (100% heal increase), and reload speeds for the AC-8 Autocannon and GL-52 De-Escalator.
