Escape from Tarkov v1.2.0 introduces the EXFIL Brothers referral program, a major rework of PMC bot behavior in PvE, and a new Prestige progression system.

EXFIL Brothers Program
A new referral system allows experienced "Operators" (Level 30+) to mentor "Candidates" (new accounts). Both receive a 5% XP bonus when raiding together, alongside a massive suite of rewards including millions of roubles, specialized cases, and unique gear.
PvE AI Overhaul
PMC bot logic has been completely reworked to be more dynamic. USEC and BEAR bots are now more likely to team up, while their hostility toward Scavs and Bosses has increased. Bot movement is now less linear, focusing on points of interest, and their gear now scales accurately with their level and faction.
PvE Prestige System
High-level PvE players can now reset their progression across 6 Prestige levels to earn permanent rewards. While resetting, players can retain up to 50% of their skills and weapon mastery, eventually unlocking unique items like the Gamma secure container and exclusive melee weapons.
Map & QoL Updates
Customs and Interchange received significant loot balancing, including guaranteed loot in locked containers and new extraction points. Quality-of-life improvements include a new trading hotkey (Ctrl+LMB), a "Run-Through" status indicator, and improved server-side synchronization to combat rubber-banding.
