Major Systems Update

This update introduces Diminishing Returns, a fundamental change to how gameplay modifiers stack. Identical modifiers from Powers, Items, Perks, and Offerings now see reduced effectiveness when stacked (down to 5% for the 5th modifier). Additionally, a new Play While You Wait feature allows Killers to play Survivor matches while remaining in their queue.

Killer & Survivor Balance

The Blight has received a significant nerf to his base movement speed and Rush token economy. Conversely, The Demogorgon, The Mastermind, and The Animatronic received substantial buffs to their power recovery and mobility. The Fast Track perk has been reworked to trigger on unhooks rather than hooks, offering higher progress per token but with a lower token cap.

Quality of Life & 2v8

UI improvements include visible teammate loadouts for Survivors and a color-coded interaction progress bar. The 2v8 mode expands with two new maps and balance adjustments for The Deathslinger and The Oni.
