Summary
Ver. 1.041 introduces the high-difficulty Arch-tempered tier to Monster Hunter Wilds, starting with Arch-tempered Arkveld and extending to all apex predators. The update also launches a massive Anniversary Event running from February 18 to March 18, featuring the return of the Festival of Accord and a collaboration with Monster Hunter Stories 3. Players can also finally obtain the community-designed weapon and pendant from the 'Every Hunter's Dream' event quest.
New Arch-tempered Challenges
The endgame expands significantly with the introduction of 10★ Arch-tempered monsters. These are permanent additions to the event quest roster, providing the ultimate challenge for veteran hunters. Arch-tempered Arkveld leads the charge, with a follow-up Free Challenge Quest scheduled for late March.
Anniversary and Collaborations
The Anniversary Event brings a month of rewards, including the fan-favorite Gala Suit α armor and a rotation of previous seasonal festivals. Additionally, the Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection collaboration offers unique Palico gear and pendants based on the spin-off series.
