Summary

New Submarine & Mechanics

The Winter Update 2025 introduces the Wallaby, a Tier 2 Attack class submarine that balances high firepower with internal vulnerabilities. A new Weakpoint system has been added, where pipes can break and cause flooding, requiring a wrench to repair. Players can now use Valves to isolate these leaks, though doing so disables linked pumps.

Gameplay & Balance

Significant buffs have been applied to electrical systems, with Relays now supporting 5 signal connections (up from 2) and Circuit Boxes receiving expanded I/O. Combat has been tuned with higher-level enemy NPCs receiving better gear, while medical skill farming has been curtailed by requiring oxygen for CPR revivals.

Multiplayer & Technical Fixes

This update addresses critical multiplayer issues, including a fix for inventories and wallets resetting between rounds. Connection stability has been improved with adjustable timeout thresholds and a fix for characters suffocating during long loading screens. The Sub Editor also received a major QoL boost with background visuals and improved snapping tools.
