Summary

New Blueprint System

Barotrauma's crafting loop has been expanded with the introduction of Blueprints. Players must now find or purchase Blueprints to unlock specific crafting recipes, particularly for high-end Alien materials like Physicorium, Dementonite, and Incendium. These must be researched at a Research Station before use, adding a new layer of progression to the campaign.

Combat & Balance Overhaul

The Railgun has received a 'satisfaction pass,' allowing shells to penetrate multiple limbs or submarine walls for increased damage. Grenades have also been reworked with rectangular hitboxes and angular dampening to prevent them from rolling uncontrollably. On the medical side, Broad-spectrum Antibiotics now provide a wider area-of-effect across limbs but with reduced potency per limb, while Antibiotic Glue has been nerfed to include organ damage side effects.

Gameplay & Technical Fixes

Significant improvements have been made to water flow logic, fixing a long-standing issue where gaps would incorrectly slow down rising water. Security NPCs are now better equipped based on their faction, and outpost NPCs will now react dynamically if they witness players dragging corpses.
